If the final evaluation is positive, the appointment to a W2 position is made without re-advertisement in an appropriately simplified appointment process. The criteria for evaluating tenure-track professorships are based on the valid regulations for the interim and final evaluation of tenure-track professorships at RUB (https://uni.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/en/tenure-track). The hiring requirements for tenure-track professorships are available at https://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/en/conditions-governing-tenure-track-professorships.

RUB stands for diversity and equal opportunities. Therefore, we promote the collaboration of heterogeneous teams and the career path of underrepresented people in the respective fields of work. RUB explicitly wishes women to apply. In areas where they are underrepresented, they are given preferential consideration if they have the same qualifications. Applications from people with disabilities are also very welcome. We welcome international applications and applications from female and male scientists with a migration background.
