In the summer semester 2021, the elections for the Senate and the Faculty Councils will take place. Due to the current situation regarding the Corona pandemic, we would like to ask you to cast your vote by postal ballot if possible. You can apply for the postal voting documents under the following link. If you wish to vote in person, there will only be one voting location available this year on June 22, 2021 in the foyer of the Audimax.


Election day: June 22, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


All eligible RUB voters now have the opportunity to apply for postal voting documents by June 11 2021, noon via the following online postal voting form. The application is necessary to ensure that the postal voting documents are sent to your current postal address and reliably reach you as voters. 
All members of the University are entitled to vote in accordance with § 9 of the NRW Higher Education Act. Eligible voters may only vote if they are listed in the electoral roll, which is determined from the staff lists and the enrolment register. If you apply for absentee ballots and are not on the electoral roll, the election office will contact you. If you have any questions about the electoral roll or your eligibility to vote, please contact the election office.
