(WiSe2023/24) Climate Change and Sustainable Development

This seminar deals with the socio-economic impacts of climate change and how these interfere with sustainable development. The thematic focus is on the impacts of climate change on welfare, assets, food consumption, child health, education, life satisfaction, and migration. Key concepts, such as the Sustainable Development Goals and the measurement of poverty and well-being, will be discussed and how these are applied in empirical economic research.
