Call for applications for the KUER.NRW Business Plan Competition 2025

Official start of the competition: June 1, 2025. Participation is free of charge.

Do you have an innovative business idea in the field of climate, environment, energy or resources? The KUER.NRW business plan competition for founders and teams – whether you are just starting out or are still in the early stages – offers you the ideal opportunity to create a business plan that will convince investors.

Within just five months, you will develop a viable business plan with the support of intensive mentoring and an experienced network of experts. You can make valuable contacts in the green economy, receive targeted start-up support and benefit from a comprehensive qualification program. The top ten teams will receive professional pitch training and image videos for further use. The top three teams will receive attractive prize money.

The KUER.NRW Business Plan Competition is organized by pro Ruhrgebiet e.V. and Business Angels Deutschland e.V. (BAND) on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
