In principle, you can choose all modules offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics. However, please make sure that you choose the modules that match your previous knowledge. As a rule a module registration is not necessary and you can simply attend them. Only a few modules require prior registration due to limited capacity (e.g. seminars). If you have found a course you would like to take, it is advisable to check the page of the chair offering the course to see whether advance registration with the chair, e.g. via e-mail, is required. 

All Bachelor and Master modules offered by the Faculty of Economic Sciences can be found in the course description. The module handbooks contain a detailed description of the module, the corresponding workload and the prerequisites that must be met before choosing the module.
The modules offered in the current semester can be found in the timetables. An overview of the modules currently offered in English can be found here.

At the Faculty of Business and Economics, the examination period usually begins in the last week of the semester and ends 2 to 3 weeks later. The period for registering for and deregistering from examinations usually begins 6 to 8 weeks after the start of the semester. The exact date will be announced by the Examinations Office.
You must register for and deregister from examinations via the faculty’s FlexNow examination administration system. This requires a card reader, your student ID and a six-digit PIN. If the registration/deregistration was successful, you will receive an email to your RUB email address. Please check whether you have received the registration/deregistration confirmation and keep it until the end of the examination period. Students who do not have a card reader are recommended to use one of the PC workstations in building GD (room GD 02/224 & GD 03/208).

In the first PDF document you will find a list of the English-language modules of the current semester. The second document lists the English-language modules of the previous semester. The third document gives an overview of the courses that are usually offered throughout the year. In the last document you will find links to courses offered by other faculties such as the University Language Centre (ZFA).

The list of English language modules may not be complete as modules are subject to change. Therefore, please check the timetables of the current semester and also look directly on the websites of the chairs.

If your home university utilizes the Online Learning Agreement (OLA), it will be automatically forwarded to us via the EWP dashboard. You do not need to take any action.

If your home university does not use the OLA, please send us the Learning Agreement via email (as a DOC file or as a scanned PDF file). Once the document is reviewed and signed, we will send it back to you via email. If needed, the agreement can also be picked up in person at the office.
