About us

The Professorship for Empirical Development Economics does research in the fields of family economics, political economy, demography and global health.

Our research is mainly based on new and carefully designed survey data and we apply a myriad of empirical research methods in our analysis.

The Professorship for Empirical Development Economics is part of the Economic Policy Lab "Climate Change, Development and Migration" at the RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research.
