General: 

• For a thesis with Prof. Pielow, please contact a research assistant.
• For a thesis with Dr. Hoffmann, please contact him.

Bachelor theses: 

• Please note that there is a long waiting list especially for B.Sc. theses. It is therefore advisable to contact us at least 3 - 6 months before the planned completion date.
• Bachelor theses can be started at the beginning of each semester. The registration deadlines depend on the Wiwi-BOS system of the examination office. In order to receive a firm commitment for the preparation of the bachelor thesis with Prof. Pielow or Dr. Hoffmann, contact must be made in advance (see above).
• Registration for Bachelor theses with Prof. Pielow takes place exclusively via the Wiwi-BOS system.
• Registrations for bachelor theses with Dr. Hoffmann are only done personally via registration form and never via Wiwi-BOS. Registration of candidates via Wiwi-Bos will not be accepted. Candidates may have to adjust to the lottery procedure in this case.

Master theses: 

• Master theses can generally be started at any time. The specific starting date will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
