Why should I study management and economics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum?
The Faculty of Economics at Ruhr-Universität Bochum stands for an integrative approach to economics, widely known as the „Bochum Model“. Not only do we believe that the two fields complement each other very well, but we also believe that the combination provides the basis for an optimal economics education.
Our 1-subject Bachelor’s programme ‚Management and Economics‘ follows the idea of the integrative approach, as you study Management and Economics together. Within the 2-subject Bachelor’s programme, students can choose between either Management or Economics. We recommend the 2-subject Bachelor’s programme to students who intend to work in a field where knowledge of economics is required alongside knowledge of another subject.
