Über uns

Prof. Dr. Manuel Frondel ist außerplanmäßiger Professor für Energieökonomik und angewandte Ökonometrie, seit Oktober 2003 Leiter des Kompetenzbereichs Umwelt und Ressourcen am RWI – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung in Essen und seit 2010 Fakultätsmitglied der Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS).

Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der empirischen Wirtschaftsforschung, vor allem der Anwendung statistisch-ökonometrischer Methoden auf umwelt-, ressourcen- und energieökonomischen Fragestellungen.

Lehre

Information about registration and participation for the seminars are in the descriptions of the course modules. Please follow the courses below for more information. These seminars are for master students only and require some prior knowledge of economic theory and empirical methods.

Informationen zu:

A binding and valid registration for the examination (independent of any additional selection procedures at the examining chair) must always be submitted via Flexnow during the published registration period.
If there is no registration at Flexnow, there is no entitlement to an examination and no credits can be booked.

The ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics has recently published a free print and downable brochure entitled „Write your best paper in economics“.
It shows the entire writing process (finding a topic, researching, reading, quoting, etc.). Before the brochure was published, extensive feedback was obtained from chairs, libraries and students.
