Foundations of International Trade
The course offers an introduction to international trade theory and policy. Trade theory deals with two main questions, that is, why countries trade with each other and how trade impacts welfare levels of the economies involved. Trade policy examines how government restrictions on trade affect trade flows and welfare levels. Finally, the course covers the fundamentals of the world trading system (WTO – World Trade Organisation).

Im Wintersemester 2023/24 wird dieses Modul am Lehrstuhl Juniorprofessur Makroökonomik angeboten.
