This course introduces students to case study analysis with a multi-disciplinary approach. Through intensive analysis and presentations, students will learn to apply their theoretical knowledge to real business situations. The teaching approach applied in this course is based on the case method, which is used as a teaching basis in leading business schools. The first part of this course mainly contains lectures and discussions to provide a basic understanding of case study analysis. In the second part, teams of four to five students will analyze two case studies and present their results in class. The course will finish with a final case competition.

Students can (voluntarily) register for the course on the learning platform Moodle via the course „Case Study Analysis (072220)“ (with the respective “WiSe + year” label). Registration is typically open from September to the beginning of October. Students participating in this course must register for the examination through FlexNow within the deadline set by the examination office. For didactical reasons, the course is limited to 20 participants.
