This course provides a broad introduction to macroeconomics. You will learn the important
questions of macroeconomics - e.g. What are causes of business cycle fluctuations,
unemployment and inflation? What are the sources of long-run economic growth? - and
How these are analyzed in macroeconomic theory.

This course provides a broad introduction to macroeconomics. You will learn the important
questions of macroeconomics - e.g. What are causes of business cycle fluctuations,

monetary and fiscal policies work and how they should be used. Finally, current and
past macroeconomic case studies such as the current economic and financial crisis or the

The module will take place in the summer semester 2022 in hybrid form. The core of the course will be
