Changes in the Range of Courses Offered

Prof. Busse will be Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics from October 2023. Therefore, the courses offered at the Chair of International Economics will be fewer than before. The following courses are planned for the summer semester 2024:

• Case Studies in International Economics (Bachelor, Prof. Busse)
• European Economic Integration (Bachelor, Dr. Haaf)
• Seminar in Development Economics (Master, Dr. Koch)

In addition, Dr. Jantke de Boer, our new Junior Professor, will be teaching the Bachelormodul International Finance. Information about the course will be available on her webpage soon.

However, you are still welcome to write your Bachelor/Master thesis at the Chair of International Economics. During Mr Busse's term of office as Dean, Master's students can write a Master's thesis at the Chair of International Economics even if they have not attended a seminar.

Enrolment for exams and seminars

A valid and binding exam registration (regardless of any additional application procedures of the respective chair) has to be done via FlexNow (or ZföB) within the officially published application period.

Without the obligatory application in FlexNow, no entitlement to an examination exists and the rendered credit points will not be recorded.

The respective deadlines (for Bachelor's and Master's examinations separately) will be published on the website the examination office, at the beginning of the semester. Changes and updates will be announced on this website as well. If you have trouble signing in to FlexNow, please contact the examination office directly.
